I am incredibly honored to announce that I have the distinguished opportunity to live a vision which I visualized last year. I have been invited to speak at TEDxYouth@ColumbiaSC 2014! If you have heard about TEDTalks, you already know that this is an amazing opportunity to spread a message of my choice across the globe. I’m presenting what I call ‘Visionary Life’ which includes several lessons that I have discovered from directing Visionary Club @ East Chapel Hill High School over the past six months. I have provided information below for visionaries who are interested in attending.
About the Event:
TEDxYouth@ColumbiaSC is Columbia’s premier by-youth, for-youth conference, which aims to inspire and educate local youth by featuring speakers that bring fresh ideas and perspectives to help guide and develop a youth community of inquisitive, open-minded critical thinkers. Offshoots of the main TED conference, which takes place annually in California, TEDx events are intended to have a local or regional focus, and TEDxYouth@ColumbiaSC is a showcase of talent, innovation, and topics specifically selected to inspire teens and adults within the community. Columbia’s first TEDxYouth conference was held in April 2012, and this year’s conference, hosted again by IT-oLogy@Innovista, will showcase even more youth speakers and performers.
TEDxYouth@ColumbiaSC Admission: FREE! Visionaries will register together in a future club meeting. Parents may register at http://tedxyouthcolumbiasc.eventbrite.com.
